EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR VACANCY – The Township of Falls Authority, located in Bucks County, seeks an experienced leader to serve as its Executive Director. The Authority’s systems serve a combined customer base of approximately 10,000 water and sewer connections and residents of Falls Township and portions of Bristol Township and Lower Makefield Township. The Authority neither owns or operates water filtration or sewage treatment facilities, the Authority purchases potable water and sewage treatment from other municipal authorities. The Director reports to a 5-member Board; is responsible for the successful operation of the Authority’s Business and Operation Sections; and supervises a staff of 14 employees, including an experienced and competent technical team. Total budget is $14 million. Candidates must have 5-8 years of management experience in either a municipality or municipal authority, leadership, and financial/budget skills. Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. Technical knowledge of water or sewer utility is not required. Salary $110,000-$130,000 with excellent employer-paid benefits, actual salary to be based on experience/qualifications.
