***BOIL WATER ADVISORY UPDATE***
THE TOWNSHIP OF FALLS AUTHORITY IS LIFTING IT’S BOIL WATER ADVISORY.
As a customer of the Township of Falls Authority, you were notified of a problem with the drinking water on September 3rd, 2021, in which you were advised to boil the drinking water before using or consuming. We are pleased to report that the problem has been corrected and you no longer need to boil the drinking water before using or consuming it.
The PA DEP requires two consecutive days of negative coliform sampling to remove a boil water advisory. The Township of Falls Authority has completed both days of sampling and the results have come back negative. Per the PA DEP, these good sample results have allowed TOFA to lift the boil water advisory effective immediately.
TOFA suggests you run your cold water for 5-10 minutes before first use to ensure the water being consumed is coming from the water main.
TOFA apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused and greatly appreciates your patience and cooperation during this situation.
This notice is being issued by the Township of Falls Authority, PWS ID: 1090022 on September 6th, 2021. Office number 215-946-6062
